I would suggest that you consider carrying some accessories. I needed folding casement window cranks to solve a clearance problem. It would have

"...I have some comments about your web site. I'm a visual designer and like to decorate. We just moved into a
new house so I have my work cut out for me. I must admit, I had never heard of Blinds.com until Google popped it up for me. Anyway, I took a chance
on ordering blinds from you, but the visual aspect was missing. The photos on your site are rather small for someone that is trying to decorate and
tie things all together. I did order some swatches to get the colors right and I appreciated the fact that I could take a look at the quality of the
material. I love the drawings that you include, so don't take those out, but I would also like a photo of your blinds in a room setting (at least a
500x500 pixel photo). As a consumer, that would give me the visual to imagine it in my own room. I wouldn't say you have to do it on every single
blind, but pick your main categories. So, my advice would be to either make a blind gallery so people can look at all of your options or include
them as a link on your page, as you do with the illustrations.
It would also be cool to include a flash animation of all your options. Kind of a marketing commercial. You could even add audio.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents. I think you have a great business and I'm glad I came across your site! Have a good weekend." |
